FERDINAND is a sweet, sweet boy about 2-3 years old who was abandoned by a family who were foreclosed on. They left him, his companion female, and their three puppies to fend for themselves in the hot Houston summer! Luckily someone heard the puppies and investigated the noise, and The "Explorers" were discovered! Ferdinand will be neutered before he is ready for adoption. He is about 45lbs and will not get much larger. He is timid and one of teh sweetest dogs we have ever met. He only wants a loving home. He and his mate, Isabella are very bonded and the ideal situation would be that they could be adopted together. But if that cannot happen, they will be separated. Please contact us or visit our adoption events at Petco on Saturdays and Sundays from 12noon-3pm to meet the explorers.. named for their sense of adventure and great stroke of luck to be found in time!
